This feature project was just completed for Gina Suarez MacMillan. Gina and Scott bought a lovely century home in the twin lakes built in 1902. The house was in need of some updates to make it into their home. Their full bath was previously updated in the 60’s, but it was time to replace the old worn out tub and décor with a classic but modern touch. We tore the bathroom down to the studs and joists and replaced everything from bottom to top with the exception of the original built in cabinets and original door. We created a full custom tile shower around a Schluter waterproofing system to ensure this bathroom would stand the test of time. Gina choose design elements that complemented the classic characteristics of the home as well as cultural influence for her “Casita Vieja” vision. We customized an antique repurposed buffet cabinet for the vanity and used a beautiful frameless glass shower door surround to finish up this one of a kind bathroom.
